Adrian Lambert,
BSc., JD

Adrian Lambert is the owner of Lambert Law. He has over 15 years of experience in intellectual property. He has been a registered patent agent since 2007 and has been a registered trade-mark agent since 2012.

Adrian has a wide range of experience in all area of intellectual property.

Adrian has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications including technologies in a wide range of fields such as oil and gas technology, telecommunications, software engineering, construction, business systems, medical devices, and high-tech patents.

Adrian prepares and prosecutes trademark applications for his clients both in Canada and in various other countries through a large network of foreign associates. He has been involved in various trademark oppositions and revocation proceedings in Canada and throughout the world.

Adrian has been involved in intellectual property litigation, including complex patent actions, as well as trademark and copyright actions, in Queen’s Bench of Alberta, Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal.

Simon Lambert,
MSc., JD

Simon Lambert is a lawyer and a registered Canadian patent agent. Simon works on complex mathematical, engineering, and physics patent applications.

Prior to becoming a lawyer and patent agent, Simon was one of the top young physicists in Canada, frequently placing in the top ten of national physics competitions and earning his Masters in Physics from the University of Victoria.

Kim Freeman
BSc.

Kim Freeman has a B.Sc. in biology and is a registered Trademark Agent. She has a decade of experience with the firm providing technical and legal assistance on patent and trademark matters.

Markus Feigel

Markus Feigel is a lawyer and a Professional Engineer. Markus completed his degree in mechanical engineering in 2015. After graduating, Markus spent four years designing products for the oil and gas, mining, and forestry industries. His design work includes power tong products, pressure vessels, test presses, and forestry rotors.

After working in the engineering field, Markus transitioned into the legal field, earning his Juris Doctor in 2020. Markus became a lawyer with the Law Society of Alberta in 2022.

John Lambert

John Lambert  is a lawyer and registered patent agent. John assists clients with creating, developing and commercializing intellectual property rights in Canada, the United States, and other jurisdictions around the world. John works with a variety of clients, from individuals to large corporations and other organizations, in securing intellectual property rights and resolving intellectual property disputes. John has experience with preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a variety of fields including computer science, mechanical engineering, material science, electrical engineering, and physics. Before studying law John studied mathematical physics at the University of Alberta, where he conducted research in biophysics in the context of simulations of protein folding.

Outside of work, John frequently enjoys running and hiking. John is also an amateur classically-trained baritone and sings in choral and solo performances when time permits.

Technical and Legal Assistants

Gerdia de Kock, B.A. (Law, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa) is a legal assistant who has worked in intellectual property practice since 1998.

Jennifer J. Harris, B.Com., LLB (University of Toronto) provides business advice to Lambert Intellectual Property Law relating to litigation, legal opinions and practice management.
